about

folk tunes from the Ganges and Jamuna river valley.
The music was recorded live in Rewa Kothi, near Assi Ghat, Varanasi in February 2008 and does not attempt to be "perfect".

Bird songs, Crickets chirping and an occasional sound of a passing boat is a part of the ambience.

"Chidiya" means bird in Hindi.
